The Ayb community members had a wonderful opportunity to e-meet Professor, Art Director of the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED), Giovanni Ottonello, who shared his experience and advice and led the participants to the magic world of fashion.
Through a super stylish presentation, he explained the ways to find yourself and your own style. The world of fashion is not as simple as it might seem, and it’s extremely important to understand who you are and what you want to reach success. The professor says some questions can help. For example, you can ask yourself: “If I were a color, what color would I be?” or “What type of music am I?” Such questions can help us uncover our style and aspirations.
In addition, it’s important to realize what you can do to make this world better. How much water and other natural resources do you use? What helpful ideas can you present to the world? These questions seem to have no connection with fashion, but actually, they can lead you to the right decision.
If you already know the answer to at least one of such questions and think that fashion should become you destined choice, it’s time to take action. Where should you start from? Professor Ottonello told Ayb High School students how to make a document case. It’s noteworthy that many of the students wish to continue education in Italian or French fashion institutions, so the skill to make a document case would help a lot to hit the target.
It’s also important that his lecture taught how to reach success in any type of career one may choose. This meeting gave us an opportunity to visit the world of colors, where everything is possible, if you really want it. Now we know what we can do to make this world full with bright colors.
